Why we built SafetySetu.
It did not start with a product plan. It started with conversations.
We spent time with people who work inside chemical plants, learning how a normal day really runs: the work, the approvals, the checklists. One thing came up again and again. For any critical job, the safety officer's approval is non-negotiable, and every check has to be followed, properly, every time.
We first saw the need up close in Gujarat, the heartland of India's chemical and pharma industry, where much of this still runs on paper: permits that get lost, approvals that wait, and no live view of what is happening on the floor.
So we set out to digitise it. Not with a rigid system, but a flexible one that cuts permit time, brings transparency and live monitoring to every job, and lets work be planned safely in advance. What began in Gujarat, we are building for all of India, and to a world-class standard for plants anywhere.
That is the mission behind SafetySetu, built by Aillegent.
Setu means bridge: between the control room and the floor, and between paper and one live record.
A safety platform recognised globally for making high-hazard operations easy, resilient, transparent and safe.
Aillegent
Aillegent is a software development company that builds secure, scalable and reliable software products for startups and enterprises. SafetySetu is Aillegent's own product, created to help industries that handle hazardous materials and operations run safer every day.
Its strength is cross-industry engineering experience, combined with a habit of understanding the business before building. That is how it makes systems that are practical, applicable on the ground, and rich in real value, not just features.
